Scranton Vocations Office Hosts "Mini" Golf Tournament

Chancery staff enjoyed some snacks at the "mini" tournament
On Thursday, September 10th, the staff from the various diocesan offices of the Chancery participated in a Mini-Golf Tournament to help support the Vocations Office of the Diocese of Scranton.

Along with providing the dedicated staff and workers of the diocese with a fun afternoon, a special collection was also taken up during the tournament to support the St. John Vianney Endowment Fund. This fund provides for the educational costs of seminarians in formation for the Diocese.

Overall, it was a good day for golf! It was an especially good day for the Vocations Office, as the team consisting of Fr. Don Williams, Susie Ruane, Nancy Dopko, and the newly-hired vocations program coordinator Dominick Costantino scored the lowest, earning the title of "Best Team"!

The Vocation Office won "Best Team"
It is evident that the Chancery officials and workers support priestly vocations. The Scranton seminarians are grateful for this fun, creative, and generous spirit of building a "culture of vocations" in the Diocese of Scranton!
