We had a wonderful meeting last Thursday about World
Youth Day in Krakow, Poland. The webinar, which was posted on this blog
last week, was shown to all those in attendance. Shannon Kowalski, Youth Minister at Saint Catherine of Siena Parish in Moscow, and Father Don Williams, Diocesan Director of Vocations and Seminarians, spoke about their past World Youth Day experiences. There was much discussion about the cost of the pilgrimage and ways in which we could fundraiser to make it possible. Most left excited and ready to sign up for the pilgrimage.
Registrations with the initial deposit need to be
made by January 26th.
Once that is accomplished, we will gather again to continue planning for
fundraising. We will also choose additional ways to prepare spiritually for this great
experience.
