Starting Seminary Formation

 By: Tom Dzwonczyk

My first month at seminary has been powerful in so many ways. I have met men from all over the world who are united by a fervent love for Jesus Christ and a steadfast devotion to His Church. While much uncertainty reigns in these unprecedented times, these men's commitment to the Gospel message serves as a beacon of light bringing God's mercy into our fallen world. I have deepened my own vocational calling through conversation with them, daily Eucharistic Celebrations, and edifying classroom study. The joy of studying for God's Priesthood radiates through the whole seminary as we undertake this important work in the most unusual of circumstances. While our faces are masked and our souls are physically six feet apart; nevertheless, we are united all the more in our desire to develop into Holy Priests who can shepherd God's flock.
